Mexico City, Metepec, and the Monarch Butterflies Tour

(Once every 3-4 years)

Every few years we replace the Puebla and Oaxaca part of the trip with a visit to the Monarch Butterflies.  This is a once in a lifetime experience.  We stay in a wonderful B&B in the town of Zitácuaro and spend an incredible day riding on horseback up to 11,000 feet to a private reserve to experience the magic of nature known as the migration of the Monarchs.  We also spend time in the city of Metepec where for famous trees of life are made as well as other wonderful artesanía.
